With the launching of our new website in 2009, updates and

Curriculum information and class pages are still
located on the old site, now called the OIS Information Portal, but have new URLs. This

The
MYP and DP use descriptors provided by
the IBO. As these are copyright, they are located in this
password protected site. Parents are encouraged to discuss
student performance with these descriptors with teachers if
they are unsure what particular levels mean.

General regulations for IB Schools:
The
General Regulations are legal documents that set out
the relationship between the IB Organization and IB students
and their legal guardians.
General regulations for each of the three programmes are

here. Parents are requested to read these upon admission
into each programme.

Association)
The
PTA class parent representatives meet periodically to
satisfy the objectives of the PTA. Please refer to the
Educator for the next meetings
The objectives of the OIS PAC
are:

To
promote the welfare of children and youth in home,
school, and community.

To
bring into closer relation the home and the school, that
parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the
education of children and youth.

To
develop between educators and the general public such
united efforts as will secure for all children and youth
the highest advantages in physical, mental, social, and
spiritual education.

Assist OIS, where appropriate, with the "ACTION PLANS"
for the continued development of the school.
