Add Shade to a Table

Create a table. Click once inside of the table to place the blinking cursor inside.

2Under FORMAT select Borders and Shading.

3Click once on the Shading tab in the Borders and Shading window to bring it to the front and make specifications.

Fill: Choose a color by clicking on it once.

Pattern: Choose a fill pattern by using the drop down menu.

Color: Choose a fill pattern color by using the drop down menu.

 

4Click OK.

The table will now appear with specifications selected.
