Prerequisite Computer Skills
Students beginning the ITGS course should have keyboarding skills and experience in using a graphical user interface (GUI) irrespective of the operating system (MacOS, WindowOS, Unix, etc.).
ITGS is not a course about the highly technical aspects of computers and is not intended as a vehicle for the teaching of computer literacy.We are concerned however to develop skills in the use of information technology which includes using integrated software packages with a view to identifying a need and designing an IT solution
