Blended images are two or more pictures that you have opened
in PhotoShop and then mixed or blended together. For this
example I started with these two pictures from the free photograph
web site freeimages.co.uk
http://www.freeimages.co.uk/galleries.htm but you can use any images for this activity

1. Open two pictures in PhotoShop and place them side by side so that you can see both. |
|
2. Use the Move tool . Click and drag one picture on top of the other picture. Press the Shift key before you release the mouse button - this will automatically centre the picture. |

3. Take the Eraser tool and make adjustments to the size of the eraser and the opacity. I recommend you set the opacity to about 30% for this activity. | |
4. Now lightly erase the top layer until the bottom layer starts to show through | |
