Study the design principals of the cover insert for either a music compact disk or a computer CDROM.  Consider not only the content and layout but also the size of the document.

Plan on paper of appropriate size, a cover insert (front and rear cover) for either a music compact disk or a computer CDROM (including spine area). 

Use Adobe Photoshop Elements to create and print a cover insert (front and rear cover) for either a music compact disk or a computer CDROM (including spine area).  The finished product must fit within a standard sized plastic CD cover

Think about your finished product.  Compare it with your design. Write an evaluation statement using the guide questions supplied.

Document Sizes

What size is a CD Cover?  This depends on if you are doing the front cover or the back.  Will you have a simple two fold cover or a 4 fold cover or even a six folder cover.

Here are some ideas to help you with the exact size of your cover pages.
