Design brief:
This is your response to the challenge, showing how you
intend to solve the problem you have been presented
with. This will guide your investigation as you work to
develop a more detailed design specification.
Design specification:
This a detailed description of the details with
which a design must fit. This is a full list of facts
such as conditions, dimensions, software, process and
methods that are important for the designer and for the
user. Your movie will need to comply with the design
specification you write.
You are are expected to
create several possible scenarios that follow the design
specification and to evaluate these to decide which one
you will use.
Once you have selected
one scenario, you need to explain your choice and state
how it will meet you design specification.

section of your design folder you need to
include the following:

have chosen, saying why you have chosen

Plan
You are expected to
construct a plan to create your chosen movie that
has a series of logical steps, and that makes
effective use of resources and time.
You are expected to
evaluate the plan and justify any changes you might
make to the design.

section of your design folder you need to
include the following:

You are expected to
document, with a series of screenshots or photographs
and a dated record, the process of making your movie,
including when and how you use tools, materials and
techniques. You are expected to follow your plan, to
evaluate the plan and to justify any changes you make to
the plan while you are creating the movie.
You are to competently
use correct techniques and software. You should
follow your plan and
explain any changes you might make, and create
a movie of high
quality using the resources available

section of your design folder you need to
include the following:

You are expected to
evaluate the movie by comparing it to your designs and
plans. You are expected to explain how the website could
be improved.
You need to evaluate
the success of the movie by saying if it follows the
designs and plans and also by asking the opinion of at
least one other person.

evaluate section of your design folder you
need to include the following:

of statements evaluating your efforts

his/her opinion of your movie.
