                                                  Developing my film

1.I took the tank (the bowl like thing you use to develop the film) and opened it . Inside there is the spool  (the spiral thing to rap the film around).

2.Then I turned off all the lights in the dark room (including the red lights)

3. I opened the film case by ripping the part that stuck out then carefully took out the film.

4. I rapped the film around the spool then put it in the tank, after that I put the lid on and turned the light on because the tank is light proof.

5.I poured the developer inside then span it every 30seconds until it was 6 minutes past then I poured it out .

6.Then washed the tank with water  just by pouring water from the small opening then pouring it out  I did that for about 3 times.

7.Then I poured the fixer inside and span it   every 30 seconds until it was 5minutes 45seconds .

8.Finally I pour the fixer out and open the tank and wash it for  at least 3 minutes.

9. Last but not least I took the spool out then I took the film off the spool and let the film dry naturally the film should be black, grey, white, dark purple.

Developing my pictures

1.I took my photograph paper and let the shiny side face down into the DEVELOPER then I take the pincher and flip the picture over and move the picture in all directions until you see the image of the picture. The picture should be in black grey and white. Safety rule (when you develop the pictures make sure you DO NOT touch your face and eyes.)

2.Then when it’s dark enough put the picture with the image into the STOPER and move your picture all directions in the stopper to stop the image from getting darker. The stopper is usually water unless you are professional

3.Then put the picture in the fixer for at least 1 minute. (This is the key point from preventing it to turn purple).

4.Last but not least make sure you wash the picture and let it dry naturally

Camera Obscura

1. I took a box that was 9cm in length 16cm in width.

2.Then I taped the box with light proof tape ( tape that light cant go through)

3.Then I made flaps on the side of opening to prevent light from going inside

4.After that I cut a hole in the middle which was 3cm in length 4cm in width.

5.To make it 100% light proof I painted the inside of the box black.

6.Finally I covered the hole with aluminum foil and made a tiny pin hole in the middle. Point the rounder your hole is the better your picture will be).

Did you know that in our world there is a small world we do not see nor hear? Maybe some people know but I doubt that you do.

In our world, there are many things we cannot see with a naked eye. For example, the close-up of the newspaper. It is in our daily lives, yet we do not know what it really looks like close-up.

My pictures represents the micro and macro world because close up it’s a totally different world. But when its seen from a macro point of view, it is very ordinary. The micro and macro world is interesting because when it is close-up, its like you’ve entered the unknown world.

I learned that the way you see things can affect what you see. When we were first going to do a experiment with how a newspaper looks close-up, I was so certain that I was going to see a big letter with a lot of gray dots, but when I did the experiment, I was amazed something that was black and white appeared to be rainbow with a lot of patterns like lines and dots connected in a scatter.

This is a micro (close up) picture of the letter a from the newspaper.

My paragraph linking my pictures to one of the AOI's

Pictures of the newspaper from a micro point of view represent  Homo faber because Homo faber means man the maker .We made the newspaper yet we don't even know what it really looks like close up. This is not just the newspaper its for a lot of things for example we made cotton fabric yet we do not know what it looks like close up. Us humans had made lots of things but I dought that we know what it really looks like close up.

This is a micro picture of the word The from the newspaper.
