Attendance

·         You are expected to attend all classes – minimum requirement is 90% attendance

·         During busy times for the yearbook, you may choose to attend extra classes, even sometimes on weekends or holidays (these sessions will not be compulsory).  If you attend these extra classes, this time will be added to your attendance total

·         If your MM class is during your lunch time, feel free to eat your lunch in class

·         Try to arrive to class on time

 

Work Ethic

·         Arrive at class ready to begin work

·         Use your time for productive school work

·         Take responsibility for your education

·         Be proud of your achievements

·         Strive to improve yourself

·         Set yourself challenging yet attainable goals

 

Standards of Work

·         You are expected to work to the best of your ability

·         The standards required for any particular piece of work will be clearly explained and you should do your best to meet these standards

·         Much of your work on the Yearbook, MMTV or web pages will be seen by hundreds if not thousands of people, both the Yearbook and the school web site represent the school and should present the school in a positive way

 

Personal Responsibilities

·         Your three main production tasks for this class are the Yearbook, MMTV and some school web pages

·         These tasks should become your responsibility

·         Decisions about style, layout, content should wherever possible be made by you

 

Grading

·         60% Work Requirements: MMTV Direct & Crew, Yearbook Pages, Web Pages

·         40% Class work and Teacher observations & progress checks

·         Extra credit will be given to those who work on other publishing tasks such as the school calendar, advertising posters, concert programs etc
