Middle Years Programme (MYP) Introduction 

Osaka International School is an authorised MYP school. The MYP is a framework of academic challenge and life skills appropriate to this stage of adolescence.

The programme insists on a thorough study of various disciplines. The accent is on their interrelatedness. Teachers in participating schools use criteria established by the IBO to assess all student work. The organization does not set or mark examinations. The IBO provides external moderation to validate the school’s assessment standards if school opt for this service.

Authorized schools are visited and evaluated regularly. A team of professional educators reviews the delivery and effectiveness of the programme and makes recommendations for improvement.
